|Kimberly A. Butcher, Program Director
YCUSD Child Development Programs
Director, Kimberly Butcher has worked in the field of early childhood
since her college days when she taught preschool. For the past 25
years she has served in a leadership capacity building instructional
excellence in the classroom and growing early childhood staff
professionally. Kimberly is dedicated to the early childhood
development of over 500 preschool age students, and 16 toddler age
students in the district. Kimberly’s drive to support young learners is
fueled by a deep personal belief that we are all responsible to
advocate for those who are not able to advocate for themselves.
Kimberly is dedicated to serving the entire family and providing the
additional supports necessary to promote learning in all students,
regardless of their differing abilities. She believes that
modifications to the learning environments foster growth for all students and that early intervention is key to future student success. Kimberly loves her work and is happy to share her experience and to learn from others. Her motto, "Together we are stronger for the ones who matter most, our children."
